Advocacy

We strongly believe in the power of advocacy to bring about positive
change in communities. We are committed to using our expertise and resources
to promote awareness and build capacity on a wide range of thematic areas,
including but not limited to health, education, human rights, gender equality, and
environmental sustainability.

Through our advocacy efforts, we aim to empower individuals and
communities to take action and make informed decisions that lead to lasting
change. We believe that everyone has the right to access information, resources,
and support that will enable them to live healthy, productive lives and contribute
to the development of their communities

Advocacy on Importance of education through Awarenesss Raising Rally (Walk)

We Care Foundation has organized awareness rally in different locations of District Badin and Thatta, Sindh to advocate for the importance of education.The rally was a huge success, with many people joining us to raise awareness about the critical importance of education and the right to education for all.

During the rally, key messages on the importance of education and the right to education was disseminated, empowering participants with knowledge and information to advocate for their own education and the education of their children.

Awareness Raising on GBV and Child Marriage through theater play

The performance highlighted the importance of standing up against gender-based violence and the need to put an end to the harmful practice of child marriage. Through the use of drama and storytelling, key messages were effectively communicated to the audience, empowering them to take action and bring about positive change
in their communities.

Awareness-raising focal group discussion with community leads persons

Awareness-raising focal group discussion on child rights against child labor has been organized for parents and community lead persons During the discussion, participants were encouraged to share their experiences and perspectives on child labor and were provided with key messages on child rights and child protection.

The focal group discussion also highlighted the importance of education and the role it plays in empowering children to break the cycle
of poverty and exploitation.

Advocacy

Meeting with mothers on EPI & Polio

An awareness-raising meeting was recently organized for mothers on Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) and polio. The meeting aimed to inform mothers about the  importance of  vaccination and how it can protect their children from deadly diseases such as polio. In the meeting, mothers were provided with key messages and were encouraged to bring their children to the nearest health center for
vaccination. The meeting also addressed common misconceptions and concerns about vaccines, providing mothers with accurate information and dispelling myths

Awareness session on personal health and hygiene

To increase the awareness on personal health and hygiene, meeting with women was organized by the We Care Foundation The meeting aimed to disseminate meaningful information about personal health and hygiene, empowering women to take better care of their own health and well-being. During the meeting, participants were provided with important information on topics such as menstrual hygiene, proper hand-washing techniques, and ways to prevent common illnesses.
