About We Care Foundation (WCF)
Welcome to We Care Foundation (WCF).
Established in 2014, We Care Foundation is a registered non-profit organization under the Societies Act, working towards creating a balanced society for future generations. Our mission is to empower communities to overcome poverty, vulnerability, and social challenges through sustainable and inclusive development practices.
At We Care Foundation, we are committed to promoting human security and social well-being, with a particular focus on uplifting impoverished and marginalized rural communities. Our interventions are community-based and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a strong emphasis on health, education, women’s empowerment, poverty alleviation, and emergency response.
Our work is strengthened through key cross-cutting approaches, including social mobilization, advocacy, gender and development, women empowerment, behavior change communication, human resource development, youth development, research, and resource mobilization. WCF is supported by a dedicated team of motivated youth volunteers and professionals who work tirelessly to create positive and sustainable change at the grassroots level.
WCF actively participates in committees formed by Health, Education, and Community Development Departments, and maintains close coordination with local government institutions and elected representatives. We have established strong working relationships with members of the Provincial and National Assemblies, and maintain an effective and constructive rapport with the media across our operational areas.
We invite individuals, institutions, and partners to join us in our journey towards building empowered communities capable of realizing their full potential. Together, we can improve the lives of people living in poverty—particularly women, who are often most affected by unjust policies and patriarchal social structures—and work collectively to bring about meaningful social change and a brighter future for all.
